Our journey began with a visit to the Mysore temple last year. We were stunned by the beauty of its architecture and sculpture. That experience inspired us to explore temple art more deeply.
To refine our designs, we travelled to the ancient temples of Chidambaram and Kanchipuram. Studying their carvings, gopurams, and intricate details gave us the references we needed. From that inspiration, this masterpiece was created.

HOW DO WE MAKE IT?
INSPIRATION
Our design draws deep inspiration from ancient South Indian temples like Chidambaram and Kanchipuram. We carefully studied their architecture, absorbed the essence of their intricate elements, and reimagined them through our own creative lens to bring this masterpiece to life.
3D PRINTING
DESIGNING
We began with traditional hand-drawn sketches, carefully translating architectural elements from various ancient temples into 2D designs. After experimenting with four earlier versions, we refined and finalised the design by thoughtfully blending motifs from Chidambaram, Kanchipuram, and other iconic temples.
Every frame takes between 33 to 52 hours of continuous 3D printing, depending on its size and complexity. We meticulously print each element part by part and piece by piece, ensuring maximum detail and structural integrity.
Crafted using eco-friendly, marble-textured PLA filament in an earthy terracotta tone, each print captures the soul of traditional temple architecture with modern precision. Our machines operate nonstop—day and night to bring these sacred masterpieces to life, one layer at a time.

MODELLING
Once we finalize our design, we bring it to life using 3D modeling software—transforming the 2D sketch into a detailed 3D model. From there, we begin testing for design flaws, making refinements, and tweaking it to ensure it's perfectly optimized for 3D printing.

This intricately 3D printed wall art is inspired by the richly carved sanctum of the Ranganathaswamy Temple and other iconic Dravidian shrines of Tamil Nadu like Chidambaram and Kanchipuram.
